One of my favorite parts of being a MUA for weddings, besides being able to do the makeup, is traveling & exploring new wedding venues! I recently had the pleasure of doing wedding makeup at Vintage Oaks Banquet Barn in Delphi, IN.
For me one of the most important places at any venue is the bridal suite. Vintage Oaks thought of everything when it comes to the bridal suite. The bridal suites are in two silos. One is for the groom & the other is the brides. The bottom portion of the silo is where the restroom are located. How gorgeous is this bathroom?! Not to mention how much more convenient is it to have the restrooms directly below where you are getting ready!
The upstairs of the silo is where we did wedding makeup. There was plenty of room for a larger wedding party. We had 8-10 people up there, comfortably. I hope this video captures how unique & beautiful the silo is.
I always travel with my directors chair. There was a vanity for getting ready at along with a full length mirror. They had a mini fridge & coffee section as well. The small details are everything!
